Romabio FAQs
Vivid Colors
Romabio Masonry Paints (Flat or Textured) are available in most 4X colors but Vivid colors will appear more muted than traditional latex/arcylic paints. This is because of the Ultra Flat sheen and tinting limitations. Black is a very popular color choice but in Romabio Masonry Paint, this color will appear more like a dark gray. This is especially noticable if painted next to another surface painted Black with traditional paint in higher sheens.
Maintenance
Cleaning and maintaining Romabio exterior coatings is easy. Since Limewash, Masonry Paint and Slurry are extremely breathable. This breathability allows for most cleaning solutions to penetrate the coating and attach the stain. We recommend any standard exterior cleaner – 30Second Cleaner, Jomax, Wet & Forget. Even simple solutions like warm water, dish soap and white vinegar can work well. Simply spray on your cleaning solution then lightly hose or pressure-wash the surface to remove the cleaner. Mineral Shield can be used as a protective topcoat to reduce the need to consistent cleaning.
Samples
For customer looking to try colors and products, the 1-liter size is the smallest option. If customers are hesitant to purchase that size and prefer to use the cheaper/smaller Ben Moore ½ pint samples, please make sure they do not apply the acrylic paint to the brick or store. Remember most of Romabio products are designed for bare Masonry Surfaces.
