Why Choose the Marvin Essential Collection?
Homeowners choose the Essential Collection for its design, quality, and performance. Constructed with Marvin’s industry-leading Ultrex fiberglass and featuring versatile narrow profiles available in six colors. The Essential Collection offers window and door styles to complement both modern and traditional homes. These simplified options allow for a straightforward ordering process with beautiful, lasting results homeowners love.
The Essential Collection includes low-maintenance patio doors, single and double-hung windows, casement and awning windows, gliders, picture windows, and specialty shapes that are designed to be used for both new construction and window replacement projects. Standard sizes and profiles make it easy to create a unified home design by integrating patio doors with fixed and operable window styles.
Essential Collection windows and doors are made with Marvin’s proprietary Ultrex fiberglass. This pultruded fiberglass expands at nearly the same rate as glass, so Essential windows are extremely stable and maintain their secure fit year after year. A high density of woven fibers makes Ultrex® highly impact resistant and more rigid than vinyl windows and other composites, providing the industry’s best fiberglass finish for lasting beauty.
Essential Collection windows and doors are available in three interior and six exterior colors. You could combine the Stone White interior color with your choice of Stone White, Cashmere, Pebble Gray, Evergreen, Bronze or Ebony. Make a statement with matching interior and exterior finishes in either Bronze or Ebony. Exterior trim is available in Flat and Brick Mould styles. For a divided lite look, add the Grill Between The Glass option.
The Essential Collection offers Low E1, Low E2, Low E3, and Low E3/ERS insulated glass with argon gas, which has thermal conductivity 30% lower than that of air. It improves solar and thermal protection by distinguishing between visible light, damaging UV, and near-infrared rays to offer the ultimate glass performance. Enjoy lower energy costs and a more comfortable interior, regardless of the season!
