Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue Review & Inspiration

What We Love About Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue HC-144

Palladian Blue is a serene blue-green paint that offers soft, relaxing tones. Its light and airy coastal hue makes it a perfect choice for adding a touch of spa-like color to almost any room, from the bathroom to the bedroom, and even the laundry room! Pair Palladian Blue with light home decor and natural woods to inspire calm and tranquility throughout your home's interior.

The Undertones of Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue

Although its name may conjure up images of bright sky blues, Palladian Blue’s undertones actually tend to lean more towards green than blue. It has hints of soft gray that are more subtle than some of Benjamin Moore’s more “muddy” blue-greens like Beach Glass, With a medium-range light reflectance value of 60, Palladian Blue’s gray tones are more likely to come through more in a room with less natural light, while it’s brightness and color saturation will hold the more light there is in space.

The blue or green undertones will also vary in dominance depending on the lighting situation. Natural light in north-facing rooms or afternoon light in east-facing rooms will pull out the cool blues, while warm south-facing and west-facing rooms are more likely to pull out the warm green tones. Your interior design scheme and decorative features can also highlight one undertone more than the other.
