The SG-16 Grinder is a lightweight 110-volt grinder perfect for commercial projects, garages, basements, and difficult to access areas. The unique carriage design includes a floating head, which provides increased surface contact and reduced amp draw resulting in faster and more efficient operation. The SG-16 operates like a traditional floor grinder, and the dual-speed gearbox and motor allows the user to operate the machine at 165 rpms or 300 rpms. The SG-16 can grind, remove coatings, prep an existing coating for recoat, strip, scrub, and polish up to 108% faster than conventional swing machines. The pad driver can be outfitted with all Simiron diamond technology from heavy removal to high-gloss polishing diamonds.
Heavy-duty, built-in dust control port easily attaches to any vacuum system. Removable steel handle and carriage for easy transport and storage. Adjustable handle for operator comfort and safety. Large 2" x 8" ball bearing non-marking wheels for ease of transport, UL/CUL safety approved. Thumb operated negative pressure on/off switch. The SG-16 Grinder requires an electrical outlet capable of providing 110-120 volts for proper usage. The grinder has a grounding plug, and should be connected to a properly grounded outlet for safe operation.

This floor machine must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This machine is equipped with an equipment-grounded plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. This floor sander is for use on a nominal 120 volt circuit, and has a grounding plug.
DO NOT leave the floor machine plugged in when not in use. Unplug from the outlet when not in use, changing diamond bits, or before servicing.
