WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy products make up a versatile epoxy system used for everything from basic, long-lasting repairs to the construction of high-performance composites. WEST SYSTEM®, 105 Epoxy Resin®, Hardeners, Fillers, Additives, Reinforcing Materials, Metering Pumps, and Application Tools were developed with the end user in mind.
WEST SYSTEM® 406 Colloidal Silica is an epoxy thickening additive used to control the viscosity of the epoxy. It prevents epoxy runoff in vertical and overhead joints. This is a very strong filler. It creates a smooth mixture, ideal for general epoxy bonding and filleting. It is also our most versatile epoxy filler. Often used in combination with other fillers, 406 can be used to improve the strength, abrasion resistance, and consistency of epoxy fairing compounds. The result is a tougher, smoother surface. You can blend it into any WEST SYSTEM® 105 Epoxy Resin®/200 Series Hardener combination, G/flex® Epoxy 650, or G/5® Five-Minute Adhesive.
Must be mixed with 105 Epoxy Resin® and hardener of your choice.

CURE TEMP:
Based on which hardener you choose, solid-state curing happens in a wide range of durations at 72°F (22°C). Minimum recommended temperatures:
205 Fast Hardener®: 40°F (4°C)
206 Slow Hardener®: 60°F (16°C)
207 Special Clear Hardener: 60°F (16°C)
