Sirca 2K Polyurethanes offer you extreme durability with great flexibility and the feel of a luxury product. This high quality white PU topcoat' s characteristics are a bright white finish with high-hiding, excellent surface durability and smooth finish. It has excellent resistance to yellowing when used wtih 6CTH3 hardener.

The pigmented versions of this converter have great leveling properties, good depth of image and hiding power. This coating is suitable to be applied by traditional spray gun, airless or Airmix, preferably over a polyester basecoat after it has been properly sanded.

Recommended for use on interior furniture, trim, doors, and kitchen cabinetry. Recommended for spray or airmix application.

NOTE: If tinted towards darker colors, colorants will raise the final sheen approximately by 10 degrees. For example, to reach 30 sheen use the 20 sheen R4500GXX (70%) and add 6FBUXX (30%).

Application Method: Traditional Spray Gun, Airless, Airmix, recommended 1-2 coats, 2 coats maximum with intermediate sanding.

Mixing Ratio: (Lighter Colors) 100 parts by weight. 6CTH3: 50 parts by weight, DPU820/SOL-9054: 20-30 parts by weight. (Darker Colors) 100 parts by weight of 6CR4500Gx0, with 6CTH3: 50-55 parts by weight, DPU820/SOL-9054: 30-35 parts by weight, or 100 parts by volume of 6CR4500Gx0, with 50-55 parts of 6CTH3 by volume, with DPU820/SOL-9054: 30-35 parts by volume

Pot Life: 2 hours (reduced at 20% with DPU820/SOL-9054 at 68° F) for lighter colors, 6 hours (reduced at 20% with DPU820/SOL-9054 at 68° F) for darker colors. 

Coverage: 392-435 Sq. Ft. per gallon, at 1 mil dried. Application amounts: 120-160 0 g/m2 4-6 mils while wet. Number of coats: 1

Dry Time: (Lighter Colors) 20-30 minutes dust free, mark-proof: 50-60 minutes, dry to scuff sand: 30-45 minutes, stackable: 12 hours, when applied at 4 wet mils with 68° F and 50% relative humidity. (Darker Colors) 30-35 minutes dust free, mark-proof: 50-60 minutes, stackable: 12 hours

Clean Up: Acetone is recommended, reclaimed acetone is fine. Clean equipment immediately after using. If the polyurethane is left sitting in the gun beyond its pot-life it will harden and be extremely hard to remove.
