RennerPlast Cleaner for Preparation of PVC Surface, Gallon

General Application Guidelines: The surface of the substrate to be coated must be clean, i.e. free of dust, silicones, detaching agents or any residue from previous processes or chemical treatments. Avoid using silicones or detaching agents near coating booth.  

Application Steps:

1. Blow out any dust or dirt residue from the profiles with compressed air. The compressor has to be equipped with an oil-water separator to avoid contamination of the surface.
2. Remove the protective film
3. Smooth the sharp edges, if any, with scotch brite (3M grey ultra fine) or with fine abrasive paper (320 grit) with the aid of a soft and lint free cloth.
4. Clean the substrat with a cloth in microfiber or lint-free cotton or industrial paper soaked wtih AP M088.  Change the microfiber/cotton/paper cloth often.  
5. Prior to the cleaner evaportion, dry out the surface with an industrial paper cloth or with a clean and dry fabric. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface being cleaned. 
6. Proceed to the masking of the areas not to be coated: to this purpose use an impermeable to waterbased coatings adhesive tape (es. tesa 4334)
7. Once the profile has been cleaned, it has to be protected form external contamination (e.g. dust, silicon in the air, gloves or dirty hands).
8. Proceed to the coating within 20 minutes from cleaning. 
9. Carry out preliminary coating tests to check the adhesion of the coating befor full application of product.
