Milesi Interior Acrylic Urethane Sealer, Clear, 5 KG
Milesi acrylic polyurethane systems are the best choice for light color woods or when an open pore close to the wood look is desired. Milesi acrylic polyurethanes are non-yellowing and the LJA99 acrylic sealer contains a UV additive. They also great transparency unlike acid cured products.
Milesi acrylic polyurethane sealers are designed so that they will easily let solvent evaporate out of them. This decreases dry times and reduces the possibilities of the producing solvent pop in the topcoat. Most often faster reducers are used in the polyurethane sealers. To insure non-yellowing of the entire system always use the LJA99 acrylic sealer under the acrylic polyurethane topcoat. More than 1 coat of acrylic sealer may be used, but only 1 is normally recommended. Most Milesi acrylic polyurethane systems require only 1 topcoat. The exception is gloss topcoats that are designed to be buffed. They should have 2 topcoats applied wet on wet.

Application Method: Airmix Spray or Hand Spray with 4.3-6.4 mils thick. Measure thickness with a mil gauge. Check Technical Data sheet for recommended tip sizes, atomization pressure, and product pressure.
Pot Life: Standard Hardener LNB99, added 20% weight, 19.6% by volume, pot life of mixed material is 8 hours. LNB99 hardener must be mechanically mixed into the resin.
Dry Time: Dust free 10 mins, To touch 30 mins, Hard dry 12-24 hours, Maximum time between layers without sanding 4 hours. Room temperature drying (18-22°C/64–72°F with 65-70% relative humidity) complete drying 24 hours.
Clean-Up: Clean up equipment immediately after use with acetone. Dispose of all cleaning materials and solvents in proper manner. Fluid lines can be flushed with a 1:1 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol. When switching from water to solvent, flush with denatured alcohol or acetone after cleaning with water. This will attract any water left in the system. Then flush with the appropriate solvent to temper the gun.
