Surface Preparation: Surface must be clean, dry, structurally sound and free of all old caulk, dirt, grease, damaged concrete & foreign material.
Product Application:
- Apply in temperatures above 40F. Do not apply when rain or freezing temperatures are forecasted within 24 hours. Cooler temperatures and higher humidity will slow down dry time.
- Cut nozzle at 45° angle to desired bead size.
- Load cartridge into caulk gun.
- Fill cracks and gaps with sealant.
- After application, a more uniform fill or neater appearance may be obtained by tooling lightly witha trowel or putty knife.
- Allow to cure 24 hours before direct exposure to water (longer in cooler and/or humid conditions).
- Paintable after 2 hours (longer in cool or humid conditions) with latex or oil-based paints.
- Clean up excess wet sealant with a damp sponge before it skins over. Excess dried sealant will need to be cut or scraped away.
- Reseal cartridge for storage and reuse.
