White Lightning® One Step Lightweight Spackling Compound is an extremely light, silky smooth formula that fills in one coat without shrinking or cracking. Ideal for filling and repairing imperfections such as splits, cracks and nail holes in drywall, plaster and other common construction materials.
Recommended for: Drywall and fiberboard, concrete and masonry, wallboard and plaster, fill nail holes and cracks, repairs cracks in common construction materials.

Apply to a clean, dry surface, free from dirt, dust, loose particles, and other contaminants. Scrape or chisel out a crack or crevice bottom, making it wider than the top. This will anchor the WhiteLightning® One StepLightweight Spackling Compound.
Apply White Lightning® One Step Lightweight Spackling Compound directly from the container using a finger, putty knife, or broad knife wider than the hole to be patched. Smooth with as few strokes as possible. The putty or broad knife may be dipped in water for smoother finishing strokes. Trowel very large patches. Fill in fine cracks by brushing on a water-thinned solution of White Lightning® One Step Lightweight Spackling Compound. For large holes or cracks, use two applications of White Lightning® One Step Lightweight Spackling Compound. After the White Lightning® One Step Lightweight Spackling Compound dries, sand smooth if desired.
Let the area dry for 30 minutes before painting. Large holes or cracks may require longer drying times. It isalways recommended to prime spackling compound before top coating with paint. Due to the porosity of some substrates, the entire surface to be painted may require primer for the most uniform appearance of the top-coat. Clean up with water.
