Renner Italia™ RennerPlast 1K Exterior topcoat is a premium product recognized for its extremely fast drying, levelling and durability. This one component, water-based topcoat is extremely durable, long-lasting with proper application and maintenance over time.
Ideal to producte a wide range of pigmented topcoats just by adding anti-heat pastes and outdoor resistant aluminum pastes.
Recommended for: Vertical and horizontal application over u-PVC window frames or doors, fences, railings, claddings, fiber glass doors

Surface Preparation: The surface of the substrate to be coated must be cleaned, so clear from dust, silicone, relase agents or other residues coming from possible manufacturing or previous chemical treatments. Avoid the use of silicones or release agents in teh areas close to the painting booth.
- Spray the profiles with compressed air in order to remove dust and dirty traces. The compressor must be equipped with an oil and water in order to avoid pollutions of the surface.
- Remove the protective film.
- Sand the possible sharp edges with scotch brite (i.e. 3M extra fine grey color) or with the abrasive paper (grit 320) heled by a soft cloth.
- Clean the substrat with a microfiber or cotton cloth without fluff or industrial paper soaked with AP M088. Change the microfiber/paper/cotton frequently. Given the variety of the PVC substrates on the market, if microfiber/paper/cotton cloth isn't enough for a good cleaning (which leads to a bad adhesion of the coating on the PVC profile), us scotch brite (i.e. 3M extra-fine grey color) soaked with AP M088 cleaner.
- Before the cleaner evaporates, dry the surface with an industrial paper cloth or a clean and dry cloth. Never let the cleaner dry on directly on the substrate.
- Proceed then with the protection of the areas taht don't have to be coated; on this regard, use an adhesive tape that is waterproof to the water-based coating (i.e. tesa 4334)
- Later, protect the clean profiles from a possible external contamination (i.e. dust, silicone in the air, gloves or dirty hands).
- Proceed with the coating within 20 minutes from the time of performing the cleaning.
Application: It is possible to apply up to three coats of this product. After each coat wait a minimum of 90 minutes with ideal conditions (ideal environmental conditions of 20 degrees Celsius with relative humidity of 70%, depending on temperature and humidity conditions, drying time may be different). Apply with a synthetic brush or roller cover.
Coverage: Approximately 10-14 m²/L, 400-650 sq. ft. per gallon. Apply 60-80 g/m² or 2-3 wet mils on surface. Maximum 3 coats on surface.
Dry Time: To Touch- 3-4 hours, Dust Free- 30-45 minutes, Complete drying time- 24-48 hours, Final curing time 5-7 days. After each coat wait at least 90 minutes for drying (this time is referred to an enviornment with 20 °C and 70% relative humidity, depending on temperature and humidity condition, drying time may be different)
