Frameport America Doors offer a complete line of shaker doors. These Shaker doors offer 2 Flat Panels, with a square (shaker) sticking providing clean, sharp edges. The doors panel edges are kerfed and squeezed during panel insertion, allowing them to expand and gri the inside door frame, eliminating rattling.
These 2 Flat Panel MDF doors are Pre-hung units, framed with 4-9/16 in. Primed Finger-jointed Pine flatboard jambs with bullnose stops, 2-3/8 in. standard single bore.

Storage & Handling
- Always handle doors with clean hands or while wearing clean gloves
- Doors should not be at a job site until concrete floors, foundations and plaster walls are thoroughly dry.
- Doors should not be exposed to excessive moisture, head, dryness or direct sunlight
Installation
- Doors should be conditioned to average prevailing relative humidity of the locality before fitting
- Do not cut doors down in size more than 1/2 in. width (1/4 in. each side) or 2 in. in height (1/2 in. from top of door, or up to 1-1/2 in. from bottom of door*)
- Allow 1/8 in. clearance between doro and frame at the top and sides of the unit.
- Be sure that jambs and stops are set perfectly square and plumb, shim and fasten every 2 feet.
- Use (3) hinges on doors 7 ft. or less in height
- Special preparataion is requed with mortise locks, please contact us for more information if needed.
Finishing
- Finish must be applied to the door immediately after fitting and hanging, but not during or immediately after high-moisture periods.
- Surfaces must beclean and dry
- Sand entire door lightly with 180 grit sandpaper
- Finish all (6) sides, this induldes edges, tops and bottoms.
