Smooth touch and feel makes Soapstone a natural sealant that adds protection to your Venetian Plaster. Naturally porous and breathable, this sealer is the historical and traditional option for sealing Venetian plasters and is a choice for low-traffic areas. Soapstone Sealer may also be used on coarser VP’s and add a little tint to it with water to make a color wash effect.

Surface Preparation: Allow substrate to completely dry. Apply Protection Soap. Allow Soap to penetrate the Venetian Plaster for 10-15 minutes, and wipe away the excess with paper towel or absorbent clean rag.
Dry Time: 24 hours
Apply: Brush, roller, stainless steel smoothing trowel, or sponge
Clean Up: With water, immediately after use.
Dilution: May dilute for color wash effect
Color: Clear
Coverage: 0.75 KG will cover approx. 300 sq. ft. on a smooth shiny Venetian Plaster, 2 KG will cover approx. 800 sq. ft.
