Benjamin Moore Woodluxe™ Exterior Water-Based Wood Brightener & Neutralizer, Gallon
Benjamin Moore® Woodluxe™ Wood brightener and neutralizer is a safe brightener for use on exterior wood decking, siding, shingles and furniture. It removes tannin, rust stains, and the factory "mill glaze" which can interfere with the adhesion of paints and stains. It counteracts the darkening effect caused by the restore (0016) and remove (0015) products on tannin bearing woods. Rinses easily with water, and is safe for all coatings and treated lumber. Removes the factory "mill glaze" which can interfere with the adhesion of paints and stains to smooth planed lumber, clapboards, or siding.

Recommended: For exterior use on wood decking, siding, shingles and furniture. Removes rust and tannin stains from a variety of substrates. Effectively neutralizes pH of Wood Restorere (0016) and Wood Remover (0015) products.

Mixing: Woodluxe™ Brightener & Neutralizer is a concentrate. A 3.785 litre container makes up to 30.28 Litres of product. Mix 2.0 Liters of Brightener & Neutralizer with 13.0 Liters of water. Cleaner, Multi-Purpose Cleaner is a concentrate. This container makes up to 8 gallons of product.
- For stubborn areas mix 2.0 liters of Brightener/Neutralizer with 10.0 liters of water. When using through a power washer chemical injector, place intake tube directly into container
DO NOT MIX CLEANER IN METAL CONTAINERS. NEVER MIX OR USE WITH OTHER CLEANERS OR CHEMICALS.
Application Steps:
- Apply diluted solution liberally to surface with plastic garden sprayer, brush or through power washer chemical injector.
- Allow solution to stand for several minutes.
- Agitate with stiff bristle brush in direction of wood grain and rinse using a garden hose with nozzle or power washer.
- Allow surface to dry thoroughly.
Important: Allow wood surface to dry thoroughly before applying a new finish coat.
Note: When applying to vertical surfaces, apply from bottom to top. For restoring heavily greyed wood surfaces, Woodluxe™ Wood Restore (0016) is recommended.
