DAP® Ready-To-Use Concrete Patch is a ready to use latex-based compound with fiber reinforcement to increase durability & for a long-lasting repair. Perfect for repairing holes, cracks, breaks & spalls in concrete or masonry surfaces. The textured material is easy to trowel and smooth for a seamless finish. Provides outstanding adhesion to concrete both aged and green. The product is excellent for tuck pointing masonry and brick work. It may also be used as a “glue” to join broken pieces of concrete or brick. DO NOT USE AS A SKIM COAT. The material dries to a concrete-gray color. Interior/Exterior.

- Use a wire brush, chisel, or similar tool to remove all loose material, dust, dirt, oil and grease from the area to be repaired. Use a solvent to remove oil and grease. Rough up the surface one or two inches beyond the area to be repaired for a good bond. Dampen the area with clean water – DO NOT FLOOD.
- Stir the patch to a smooth consistency; no thinning is required. With a flexible putty knife, broad knife, or trowel fill in the area to be repaired, pressing compound firmly into holes or cracks. Wetting the putty knife with water is very helpful to achieve a smooth film.
- If area to be patched is deeper than 1/2 inch, apply patch in 1/4-inch layers, maximum depth 1 inch, allowing each application to dry.
- If used as a “glue,” apply at least one layer of concrete patch to both surfaces to be repaired. Push the pieces together and use bracing or weights to support the assembly during cure.
- Patched areas may be painted with a quality latex paint after 3 to 5 hours or alkyd paint after 48 hours if desired.
