In cold weather during gypsum panel joint finishing, minimum surface, water, mix and air
temperature of 45°F must be ensured until joints are completely dry. Adequate ventilation shall
be provided to carry off excess moisture. Mix what can be used within the working time. Use a
clean container for each batch. Add 1 bag into approx. 5-6 qt. clean water. Mix 1 minute or until
smooth, scrape container sides. Add water if needed and remix approx. 1 minute or to preferred
consistency. Do not re-temper or mix with any other material.
