Recommended for common roofing fixtures, including: Aluminum, brass, copper, galvaized steel, powder-coated metals, creamic tile, concrete, glass, mortar, polyisobutylene, stone, tile, vinyl, wood, stucco, terra cotta, steel, brick, asphalt shingles, acrylic & polycarbonate skylights. Anything not listed should be tested for adhesion compatibility before use.
Application:
Large beads applied in hot weather (above 95ºF) may exhibit slight bubbling. For best results, apply out of direct sunlight. 0° to 140°F (-18° to 60° C) (Cartridge) 0° to 120°F (-18° to 49° C) (Brush) Surfaces must be clean and free of frost, loose materials, dust, etc. Prepare frosty or icy surfaces by cleaning with alcohol. Natural shrinkage may give some joints a concave appearance. Multiple applications may beneeded to fill the joint flat. If dirt or oils are present on the substrate, wash with any household cleaner, rinse to remove and allow to thoroughly dry. Remove any old caulk, especially silicone or silicone residue. Use a silicone remover. Close ventilation intakes on roof until solvent dissipates (approx. 12 hours). Flammable during early cure (approx. 24-48 hrs.)Fully cured in 1-2 weeks. Dry Time: Full cure: 1 week (depending on temperature and humidity) Paintable: 1-2 days with water-based paint 1 week with oil-based paint
