Zinsser Universal Wallcovering Primer is a one-step, mildew-resistant, high-hiding primer for use on all surfaces, with all adhesives and under or over all wallcoverings. ShieldZ Universal provides excellent adhesion and makes wallcovering removal easy later. Designed for use on existing wallcovering, paneling, and gloss surfaces. Use on regular paint, porous flat paint or unprimed drywall.

Application: Apply only when air, material, and surface temperatures are between 50-100ºF (10-38ºC) and the relative humidity is or less than 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, or airless sprayer with a 0.017 tip at 2,000-2,500 psi for optimum spread rate. Cut in entire surface using a brush at the corners, edges, and openings. Close container tightly after each use.
Dry Time: To touch 30 minutes, To recoat 1 hour, Full cure 24 hours
Coverage: 350 - 400 Sq. Ft. per gallon
Clean-up: Clean up all tools and spots immediately with warm water.
