The Quik Guard–coated Deck-Drive DCU Composite screw is designed to resist medium levels of corrosion for all types of composite or PVC decking. The carbon-steel screw penetrates composite decking with a Type-17 point and is engineered with inverted upper threads that clear excess material to ensure a clean, secure installation. The color-matching painted heads blend with popular manufacturers’ decking for a more concealed, professional finish. Available in a wide range of colors.
- 350 Count screws approximately 100 Sq. Ft. of decking with framing at 16" on-center spacing
- Available in carbon steel, as well as Type 305 and Type 316 stainless steel for high to severe levels of corrosion resistance
- Tri-lobe thread design reduces damage to the composite board while driving

Designed for fastening composit decking, trim, and cladding. Applied by driving them directly into the composit board using a drill or driver with the appropriate bit, ejsuring the screw is countersunk to a proper depth, and then optionally using a matching "DCU screw plug" to cover the screw head for a clean finish.
