In a couple of weeks, Benjamin Moore will announce their 2018 Color of the Year. While we all await that choice, there is still plenty of time in 2017 to transform your home.
Our designers at Ring’s End bring creativity and design experience to any project, big or small. With any design project the first stop should always be at Ring’s End. With every project, and every home there can be many colors that can stand out and make a home look extravagant.
One of our designers, Elizabeth Reda of our Stamford-High Ridge location submitted some photos of her recent project in which she used Benjamin Moore and Hunter Douglas products. In the picture above, Elizabeth went with OC-28 Collingwood for the walls and contrasted that with AC-35 Valley Forge Tan for the cabinets. The trim throughout the house is done in PM-3 Decorator’s White.
Elizabeth explained her thought process behind the project, “The inspiration behind the colors for this house was to bring the outside in. Using warmer grays, to draw your focus to the outside. Using earth tones in the kitchen and then bringing in a provenance woven wood in the kitchen. Covering the dining room in a tweed grasscloth. A warm and soothing color in the guest room for guest to feel at home. And then the living room using Duette honey combs shades to not compromise the view outside when the shades are all the way up. Also to show off all the beautiful moldings, but to still allow sun protection when needed.”
There are many ways to go about handling the color in your home, and our designers are more than happy to help with anything you need. Please feel free to stop in one of our many Ring’s End Design and Décor locations from 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday and Thursday until 7pm seasonally.
