This year, the Connecticut Governor's Residence celebrated its 100th anniversary. To commemorate the historic value and tradition of the home, the Governor’s Residence Conservancy (a private not-for-profit organization established in 1991 to restore and furnish Connecticut’s first home) asked Connecticut Cottages & Gardens to assist in "preserving and refreshing" some of the public rooms of the Residence, along with the guest house and pool house. Ring's End was among a select group of designers and vendors who were given the opportunity to participate in "The People’s Project". In addition to a custom countertop from the Private Collection from Corian® by DuPont™, Ring's End and Benjamin Moore donated premium paints such as Aura® and Regal Select®, which were used throughout the Residence on walls, doors, furniture, trim and accents.
