March 21, 2012 (Darien, CT) – Ring's End, Inc. today announced that it has opened a new full-service paint store at the former Brandman’s location at 921 High Ridge Road in Stamford, CT. The store, featuring the full line of high quality Benjamin Moore paints, also offers customers unparalleled service by a seasoned sales team.

This year, the Connecticut Governor's Residence celebrated its 100th anniversary. To commemorate the historic value and tradition of the home, the Governor’s Residence Conservancy (a private not-for-profit organization established in 1991 to restore and furnish Connecticut’s first home) asked Connecticut Cottages & Gardens to assist in "preserving and refreshing" some of the public rooms of the Residence, along with the guest house and pool house. Ring's End was among a select group of designers and vendors who were given the opportunity to participate in "The People’s Project". In addition to a custom countertop from the Private Collection from Corian® by DuPont™, Ring's End and Benjamin Moore donated premium paints such as Aura® and Regal Select®, which were used throughout the Residence on walls, doors, furniture, trim and accents. Last week local contractors had the opportunity to meet Leona J. May, an OSHA employee, face to face. Ring’s End and The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County brought OSHA to a round table discussion on enforcement, training, safety manuals, compliance, record keeping, fines, employer’s rights, fall protection and more. The contractors in the group were anonymous and asked numerous questions throughout the session. The tone was civil and the questions were very direct. Primarily the talk was about Fall Protection, Safety Manuals and Enforcement Initiatives for Region 1 (New England).
