Bek Meyers has worked in a design capacity for the past 15 years. She began her career in fashion as a buyer and then a wholesale rep. traveling extensively domestically as well as to Asia and Europe. After starting a family Bek began helping friends and family with paint and interior design due to her proclivity for art and having an eye for design. To better utilize her talent for painting Bek attended The Finishing School in New York. There, Bek learned how to perfect many decorative painting techniques and subsequently started her own business creating faux finishes, murals and Trompe l’oeil for her customers.
When she learned that there was a position for a Designer at Ring’s End, Bek immediately applied. With her background in fashion, art and design this job seemed like the perfect marriage of her skills. Bek thinks this job is the most fun she has ever had; no two days are alike and working with design and décor is what she loves. Visit Bek at the Danbury location and she will be able to help you select your window treatments, fabric, rugs, paint and more to ensure you reach the look you are trying to achieve.
