The large windows in Stamford Ford’s showroom radiate intense heat and glare from the sun, limiting the usage of the showroom computers. Ring’s End Color & Design Consultant Kimberly Pratt found the perfect solution; a combination of style and functionality in window treatments from the Ring’s End Classic Collection and Hunter Douglas. The showroom space is now a perfect environment to facilitate business. The space is kept cool and comfortable with a sleek, modern feel while providing the necessary UV protection.

Commercial Sheerweaves Solar Shades from the Ring’s End Classic Collection line the showroom, keeping the space open and light while limiting the effects of direct sunlight. The walls are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Swiss Coffee (OC-45) in a flat finish.

The subtle texture of these shades adds beauty to functionality. The pattern is appropriately reminiscent of tire tread.

In contrast to the modern showroom, the owner wanted window treatments that would provide complete privacy, while looking more traditional and warm in his office. He selected a lined Montauk Charred Wood Woven Shade from the Provenance Collection by Hunter Douglas.

The combination of colors and variation in the material give this shade a rich texture. The pattern ties together the blacks, golds, browns, and caramel tones seen throughout the office furnishings. A winning combination!
